Whale Path, the on-demand business research platform led by co-founders Artem Gassan and Colin Gu, have raised $1.1 million in seed funding and adopted a new business model for their custom business research startup. 

Whale Path has developed an on-demand research platform that offers business research such as market intelligence and competitive analysis, done by postgraduate students it vets. It says it can deliver customized reports three times faster and at half the price of traditional research vendors.
